Money transfers via «Welsend» system

In accordance with the Resolution of the Board of the NBU dated February 24, 2022 No. 18 «On the operation of the banking system during the introduction of martial law», it is prohibited to transfer funds abroad

 

«Welsend» transfers could be made in the following cuerrrencies:

 

  • UAH
  • EUR
  • USD

 

The Welsend system allows to transfer funds to any payment card of the Ukrainian issuing bank. To make the transfer, the client should contact any customer service point of the «Welsend» system. The funds will be available to the recipient immediately after they are credited. The sent transfer in the «Welsend» system is available for collection within 30 calendar days from the date of sending.

 

The commission for the transfer of funds through the «Welsend» system is paid by the sender of the transfer.
The commission for sending a transfer depends on the amount and location. 

 

It is possible to reduce the size of the commission for sending a transfer in UAH using «Clients Card», which the client receives when accumulating the corresponding amount of sent transfers or when sending a transfer of a significant amount.

 

To send the transfer:

 

  • visit «RwS bank» branch
  • present a passport or a document replacing it
  • inform the operator of the amount, currency, country of receipt of the transfer, full name of the recipient and the method of receiving the transfer
  • inform the operator of the recipient's payment card number (if the transfer is within Ukraine and must be credited to the payment card)
  • inform about the presence of the Client's Card (if applicable)
  • sign a drawn up by an operator application for sending a transfer and deposit money in the cashier
  • get the control number of the transfer and safely provide it to the recipient of the transfer
  • the transfer is ready for payment immediately (online) after sending

 

Limits for sending money transfers in foreign currency outside of Ukraine
You can send amounts in the equivalent less than UAH 400,000 without providing supporting documents and without opening a current account.
Non-residents can make transfers solely on the basis of documents confirming the sources of origin of funds.
 

To receive the transfer:

 

  • visit «RwS bank» branch
  • present a passport or a document replacing it and provide control number of the transfer
  • inform the operator of the amount, currency of transfer, full name of the sender
  • sign a drawn up by an operator application for payment of the transfer
  • receive the transferred funds at the cash desk

 

Limit on receiving money transfers in foreign currency, received from abroad – up to UAH 400,000 in one operating (working) day without opening a current account.
